What Is Yerba Mate

Mate has been shared in South America for hundreds of years, prepared in a mate (cup) and passed from person to person as a way of connecting. It's known for its uplifting energy and various health benefits, without the jitteriness or crash of coffee.
The Experience
Rooted in history and tradition.
Guests learn the history, tradition, and culture behind mate, how it's been shared across South America for generations, and how it's prepared today. Then everyone drinks together as conversation unfolds naturally.
Everything is provided.
Each guest gets their own mate (cup) and bombilla (straw). Yete handles setup and full cleanup. You just show up.

Dan did an excellent job teaching the history of Yerba Mate, the cultural significance, and the beautiful community oriented ritual. The whole event was engaging and I'll definitely be having Mate again soon.
